Introduction

The Department of Periodontology provides scaling (calculus removal), which is the basis for periodontal disease prevention, maintenance, and management, and subgingival curettage, root planing, and surgical periodontal treatment to treat periodontal disease (gum). In addition, we provide aesthetic periodontal treatment for inflammatory and drug-induced gingival hypertrophy and gingival recession.
In addition, we are performing artificial tooth implantation (implant), treatment of inflammation caused by implants (peri-implantitis), and bone grafting.

At the Department of Periodontology, we treat patients' precious teeth and tissues around the teeth with the highest goal of preventing gum disease and stopping disease progression. In addition, by participating in domestic and international academic conferences and presenting research in various academic journals, we are striving for the development of periodontal science and organic connection with clinical practice, and providing evidence-based scientific treatment to patients. Based on systematic research by professional medical staff, we strengthen professionalism and stability through collaboration with other clinical departments, while providing personalized treatment for each patient and lifelong gum maintenance and management treatment based on accurate diagnosis through clinical examination and radiographs.
